Police and army personnel immediately rushed to the spot. They conducted a room-by-room search of Kadam Mubarak's various establishments from where water is claimed to have been thrown to control the situation.

It is known that Chittagong District Puja Celebration Parishad President Advocate Nitai Prasad Ghosh and Joint General Secretary Shyamal Kumar strongly protested this incident.
